Praying for Justice Clarence Thomas as He Was Not in Court Today

Hopefully Justice Clarence Thomas is just fine – but given his loyalty to the nation, his unexplained absence during this critical time is concerning. Tomorrow is the Fischer case where hundreds of January 6^th protesters as well as Donald Trump were charged with corruptly obstructing an official proceeding – Section 1512; the misguided application of an Enron-inspired corruption-based law improperly applied to freedom loving protesters that had no “corrupt” intent.  Next week is the presidential immunity case.

Chief Justice Roberts did state at beginning of arguments this morning that Justice Thomas would fully participate in the cases via the written materials, which is a positive indication as to his circumstance.
